The Forever Wild brand is inspired by two things deeply rooted in the Adirondacks of New York State: a historic Adirondack tavern and a nonprofit mission dedicated to preserving the wild character of the region. Our brand reflects the spirit of the North Country — rugged, independent, adventurous, and deeply connected to nature.
The name “Forever Wild” comes from one of the most important conservation principles in New York State. In the New York State Constitution, the Adirondack and Catskill Forest Preserve lands are protected under the “Forever Wild” clause, meaning these lands must remain forever kept as wild forest. This landmark protection ensures the Adirondack Park remains one of the largest protected natural areas in the United States, preserving its forests, mountains, lakes, and wildlife for generations to come.
